Junior Designer / Creative Associate

About Texterra

Texterra is building an AI-powered creative platform that interprets visual inspiration and translates it into structured, usable design systems.

We read the signals in your uploaded images and turn intuition into intent. Screenshots, moodboards, and visual worlds become signals of taste, hierarchy, composition, and structure — synthesized into composed systems that give creative direction real form.

Our core capability is Aesthetic Interpretation — the ability to read images as expressions of taste and translate them into usable creative frameworks.

Texterra sits at the intersection of design, technology, and human judgment. We’re early, design-led, and building something ambitious at the foundation of a new creative operating system.

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Designer / Creative Associate to support creative execution across brand, marketing, and internal projects.

You’ll work directly with the founder to help move ideas from “in progress” to “published.” You’ll see how decisions get made and help turn momentum into visible output.

This is a hands-on learning role inside a design-led startup from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Working On

  • Social content and visual assets
  • Decks, templates, and marketing materials
  • Gathering references and building creative context
  • Supporting consistent brand expression across channels

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong design fundamentals and visual judgment
  • Comfortable in Figma (layouts, components, exports)
  • Organized, curious, and detail-oriented
  • Able to take direction, ask smart questions, and follow through
  • You’re ambitious, building your taste intentionally, and eager to contribute meaningfully
  • You communicate clearly, take feedback well, and contribute positively to the team

Bonus

  • Motion or simple video editing
  • A strong eye for typography and layout systems

What Sets You Apart

  • You’re hungry to learn and want real responsibility
  • You care about craft and are building your taste intentionally
  • You’re reliable and clear in communication
  • You’re excited by early-stage energy and creative tools

Important Context

This is an early-stage, equity-first role. Cash compensation is limited at the start.

This role is best suited for someone who wants hands-on experience, proximity to real product building, and long-term upside in an early company. Competitive compensation is planned as the company generates revenue or secures funding.

Compensation

  • Equity-first compensation (standard vesting structure)
  • Flexible hours and scope
  • Opportunity for paid work as revenue or funding increases
